DAG! Records is an independent label run by The Inner Banks' David Gould and Caroline Schutz. Originally establlshed as a vehicle for releasing the two Bootleg Remedy CDs in 2001 and 2002, DAG! has evolved to mirror our own projects and tastes.

While stylically varied, the music we produce and promote has the aim and, we hope, the capability to evoke an emotional and cinematic experience. Interestingly, many of the people in our creative mix have visual backgrounds: Caroline worked as an illustrator and designer before turning to music, David has scored films and other multi-media projects, and Arliss Parker, whose EP "Handsome Like a Lion" we're releasing, has experience in photography and film. Sparse or thickly layered, instrumental or lyric-based, orchestral or electronic: to us these are less important details than whether or not a song can inspire a moment of thought or feeling.
